Fiery shrimps 🍤 🍤
We moved to a beautiful coastal city, Mangalore, in my early teens. So, right from my high school to university studies were all completed there and it holds a very special place in my heart.
Mangalore is on the west coast of southern India and it's known for its beautiful beaches, culture and exquisite seafood! Needless to say we always had the freshest seafood growing up and I'm a total seafood buff!
Here is my quick and easy go to fiery shrimp recipe 👇🏼
1) wash and devein the shrimps, you can leave the tails on
2) in a wok, heat some sunflower oil (any cooking oil) add chopped garlic
3) when it turns fragrant add chilli powder, paprika, pepper and salt
4) now add the cleaned shrimps and fry for 5 mins (shrimps cook fast)
5) turn off the flame, squeeze in half a lime and garnish with spring onions, serve!
You can serve this up as a starter or with some pasta as a main dish, it always hits the spot! #seafood #shrimps #fieryshrimps
