My last post was all about pancakes... When there is a lot of leftover pancake batter just add a little extra butter whisk and make waffles, stack and seal in a ziplock bag and freeze them...for an amazing make ahead breakfast for another day!!

Waffles with fluffy cream cheese, raspberries and honey drizzle !


Recipe

1) Sift 1 cup plain flour, 1cup wheat flour and half a cup of roasted and ground rolled oats in a mixing bowl.
2)to this add 2 teaspoon baking powder, half teaspoon salt,  half teaspoon baking soda, 2 tablespoon sugar and mix
3) break 2 eggs into this, 100 gms soft butter and 1 cup milk and make a batter...you can add more milk or water to the batter if needed. 
4) butter the waffle iron, heat it and pour the batter to make waffles. 

P.S. There are so many different types of waffle irons in the market these days. Please follow the instructions on the waffle iron that you have for best results.
