Overnight Oats
This is a nutritious, fun, make-ahead breakfast for those busy weekday mornings ,breakfast on the go - The Overnight Oats!
This is such a versatile recipe that you can personalize in a million different ways and have fun with it!
Recipe
Ingredients
1) rolled oats 1 cup
2) flax seeds & chia seeds 1 tablespoon
3) milk half cup
4) yogurt half cup
5) raw honey 1 tablespoon
6) any seasonal fruits/ berries
Method
1) in a bowl take half the fruits/ berries you have and mash them using a fork
2) add rolled oats 1 cup, 1 tablespoon flax and chia seeds with milk half cup, yogurt half cup, raw honey 1 tablespoon and mix well.
2)leave it overnight to soak.
3) in the morning , add the remaining fruits/berries on top and enjoy your breakfast on the go!
4) this serves 4 people.
Quirky tips
1)Changes you can make are replace raw honey with maple syrup/ agave.
2) can use nut, seeds, plant based milk instead of regular milk and yogurt.
3) Instead of topping with fruits you can make a smoothie and use that too - smoothie bowls are amazing !
4) I have also used protein powder and cocoa powder for a chocolate flavored overnight oats, they taste great, do try!
