Rava Dosa - growing up I don't remember my mom making rava dosa at home traditionally. However, over the last few years this has become quite a popular choice for breakfast, owing to the fact that these are instant, unlike traditional dosas! So you can prepare them in a jiffy! What's more, they are super crispy and light and kids love them too! So, here is the recipe 👇🏼
1) in a bowl take 1 measure rava ( fine semolina) , 1 measure rice flour, half a measure plain flour ( maida) and 2 tablespoon curd and mix
2) add 1 teaspoon jeera seeds (cumin), 1 teaspoon black pepper (coarsely ground), salt to season and mix
3) add finely chopped onion, ginger, green chillies, curry leaves and coriander leaves
4) add 5 measure water and mix well, let it sit for 30 mins
5) after 30 minutes you can mix well and add water only if required
6)pour ladle full of batter onto the pan, followed by half teaspoon oil, close lid for 30 seconds, open the lid give it another 20-30 seconds to crisp, then fold and serve with chutney.
