Putting together a fun kids meal

Kids miss dining out too during these lockdown times.. So here are a few kids menu  ideas for a fun Friday lunch/ dinner for kids that you can put together in a jiffy. 

Part 1 👇🏼


1) fish fingers with butter rice and crispy baked potato wedges.
2) fish steak, veggie sticks and cheesy pasta

3) Hulk spaghetti
4) make your own pizza  


Fish fingers,  butter rice and crispy baked potato wedges

Recipe : 

Butter rice 

1) in a pan take 2 tablespoon butter add 1 garlic sliced ,once the garlic turns a light golden add 1 cup cooked rice and mix well 

2) season with pepper,  salt and finely chopped spring onions. - ready to serve 

Kidsmenu

Crispy baked potato wedges 

1) wash,  peel, and  slice 3 large potatoes into wedges 
2) blanch in hot water for 4-5 minutes 
3) place it on the oven tray,  add pepper,  salt,  drizzle olive oil and give it a nice rub 
4) add some thyme and bake at high (250C) for 8-10 mins

Cheesy pasta 

1) you can check my pasta pomodoro recipe for this,  here I added fussili and topped with grated cheddar for kids.

Veggie sticks

 - just cut carrots, celery and cucumber into sticks.

Fish

Since its a quick fix, I have used frozen fish fingers and breaded fish steak here so just followed the instructions on the box to bake and its ready to serve!
